The ABB FIA Formula E World Championship is back in Monaco this weekend for Round 8 of Season 10, bringing 11 teams and 22 world-class drivers to tackle the historic Circuit de Monaco.
The championship’s return to Monaco marks its sixth year of racing history at the iconic Circuit de Monaco. Last year’s race was filled with excitement, featuring 116 overtakes and an impressive climb by race winner Nick Cassidy from 9th place on the grid.
Key contenders for this race include Sébastien Buemi, Formula E’s only two-time winner in Monaco, and Jaguar TCS Racing, looking to replicate their outstanding 1-2 finish from Season 9.
For Mahindra Racing’s Nyck de Vries, this race will be his 50th in Formula E, making it a special milestone in his career filled with multiple race wins, pole positions, fastest laps, and a championship victory in Season 7.
As the championship reaches its halfway mark, Pascal Wehrlein and Jake Dennis are tied on points at the top of the Drivers’ Championship and will be pushing to establish a stronger foothold atop the standings.
The 2024 Monaco E-Prix will start at 15:00 local time on Saturday, April 27th.
