1946 Chevrolet Suburban

Introduced in 1936, the Chevrolet Suburban was based on a commercial panel truck. But instead of having a huge, windowless cargo area there was a large passenger compartment. Early Suburbans had two doors and three rows of seats that accommodated up to eight passengers.

This Suburban was restored by Michigan resident Elmer Langdon and his son-in-law and went on to win numerous national Chevrolet and truck awards. It is the vehicle used as the model for the Franklin Mint scale Chevrolet truck sold all over the world.

Engine: 216.5 CID Inline 6-cylinder, 90 horsepower
